The City of Cleveland, The U.S.A. Powerlifting Federation, and The Cleveland Sports Commission are proud to present The 2009 U.S.A. National Bench Press Championships. This nationwide competition will be held in the Luxurious Grand Ballroom of The Historic Renaissance Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2009. The U.S.A. Powerlifting Federation and the International Powerlifting Federation both conform to the stringent drug testing of the Word Anti-Doping Agency to ensure an even playing field for all lifters. With well over 200 of the nation’s best lifters, the 2009 Nationals will be the largest competition in national meet history. In addition, over the past several years the state of Ohio has had a strong representation in international competition with numerous Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists.
